Poorly executed. No different than website.

I couldnt get the MPLS snow emergency website map to load properly on my phone (safari) so I downloaded this hoping that an app built specifically for iphone would offer a solution.
I got an "app" that links directly to the site anyway, offering the same sporadic loading of the map with the additional frustration of awful navigational controls.
Also, for the past few hours Ive received a "server not found-try again later" error, which makes the whole thing moot anyway.
I love the citys texting alerts-but living and navigating downtown during a snow emergency goes beyond the normal "odd/even" rules of thumb and a proper map at the ready would be great.
